OPP seeks help finding Mount Baldy snowmobile thief

THUNDER BAY — Ontario Provincial Police are asking for the public's help to track down the person who stole a snowmobile at the Mount Baldy ski hill.

The incident happened in the early afternoon of Friday, Jan. 24.

OPP say the owner of a 2006 Arctic Cat F6 machine arrived at the hill and left the snowmobile unattended for a short period.

A male was observed getting on the machine and driving it onto Mount Baldy Road.

He then headed north on Highway 527 toward the North Branch Road area.

The stolen snowmobile is green in colour.

The only description of the suspect is that he was wearing a baseball cap.
