THUNDER BAY -- Thunder Bay Rotary clubs are gearing up for the annual Christmas parade, which hits the streets Saturday morning.

This will be the 25th annual Christmas parade. Organizers are inviting people out for all the fun. Co-chair Volker Kromm said it's become a real community tradition.

He said people should show up at the Superstore on the Harbour Expressway by 10 a.m. if they want to catch the start of the show. Crowds are expected along Memorial Avenue and at the finish line at the Thunder Bay Community Auditorium, where Santa and Mrs. Claus will meet and greet with the children. Officials with Canada Post will also be collecting letters to Santa.

As this is the silver anniversary, organizers are asking people to bring silver bells to ring, as they watch the dozens of colourful floats pass by.
