Police in Sioux Lookout arrested two suspects believed to be involved in a back alley attack and robbery in that community Monday.
Officials with the Sioux Lookout detachment of the OPP say officers on patrol in the area received information that an assault had taken place in a back alley on Front Street.
Investigating officers discovered that a 19-year-old man had been assaulted and some of his property had been taken. The victim was not injured during the attack.
Officers later located two men who were identified by the suspect.
Two men, a 24-year-old and 26-year-old, were arrested and charged with a single count of robbery. Both suspects are expected to appear at the Sioux Lookout Provincial Court on Tuesday, Nov. 8.
