THUNDER BAY – After taking last year off because of COVID-19 gathering restrictions, the Parade of Lights will return in 2021.

Event organizers say they plan to hold the popular holiday happening on Dec. 4, starting at 7 p.m. along the traditional parade route. They ask that spectators take COVID precautions, including physical distancing where possible and the wearing of face masks if it’s not possible with those outside one’s household.

Those showing symptoms of COVID-19 are asked to stay home, even if they’re mild and those who do attend will be asked to spread out along the parade route rather than gathering en masse.

The Parade of Lights is put on by the Thunder Bay Police Association.
