THUNDER BAY -- Police are investigating the theft of a dozen parking meters taken from both the north and south cores.
The 12 meters were completely removed from their locations at some point last month, the Thunder Bay Police Service said in a Thursday afternoon news release on Thursday
Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
Jonathan Paske, the city's acting manager of licensing and enforcement, said the parking authority has an inventory of replacement parts and meters and does not anticipate any additional costs as a result of the thefts.
