Passengers on Dec. 28 flight may have been exposed to COVID-19

Thunder Bay District Health unit say some passengers on Air Canada flight from Toronto may be at risk.

THUNDER BAY – The Thunder Bay District Health Unit says passengers on a recent flight that landed in Thunder Bay have a low risk of exposure to COVID-19.

The health unit on Thursday said anyone in rows 12 to 18 on Air Canada flight 7936 from Toronto to Thunder Bay on Dec. 28 should monitor themselves for symptoms and immediately self-isolate in even one symptom is showing.

Anyone on the flight with symptoms should contact the health unit at 625-5900 or phone their local assessment centre to arrange for testing.
