A local man has pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography.
Michael Todd Payne, 46, was charged in January with possession and distribution of child pornography.
The Ontario court heard Wednesday morning that Payne pleaded guilty to the possession charge.
Sentencing is scheduled for Aug. 12 at the Ontario Court of Justice. The second charge of distribution will also be heard on that date.
