Thunder Bay Police are investigating a serious vehicle-pedestrian collision that happened Saturday night.

One person was sent to hospital with unspecified injuries after the incident, which occurred near the intersection of May and Cameron streets.

A witness said the victim did not appear to be moving when emergency crews whisked the person away.

Police centred their investigation around a white sedan, which appeared to have a dented hood and partially caved-in windshield.
