One person was sent to hospital Friday after a collision involving two vehicles and a pedestrian on Memorial Avenue.
Police, paramedics and fire crews were called to the scene around 3:30 p.m. Thunder Bay Police Service officers say a truck came into collision with the back of a car, which then hit a person crossing the road.
The pedestrian was taken to hospital with what are believed to be minor injuries.
The two drivers weren't hurt as a result of the crash, but both vehicles sustained considerable damage.
Traffic on the northbound lanes along Memorial had to be rerouted while emergency crews responded.
There's no word on whether any charges will be laid.
