Pet owners looking to keep track of their animals might want to check on the city's annual chip-a-thon on April 14.
For $35 one can have a dog or cat micro-chipped by local veterinarians, a $30 charge applying for each additional pet. The session will take place at Animal Services headquarters at 882 Alloy Dr.
Animal Services offers discounted pet licensing for animals that have been micro-chipped.
To book an appointment between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., phone 684-2156.
