Pharmacy robbed

THUNDER BAY -- City police have released surveillance video footage of a suspect involved in a pharmacy robbery Friday. Thunder Bay Police Service officials say the woman entered the Advantage Pharmacy on Barton Street just after 1 p.m. on Aug. 1.

THUNDER BAY -- City police have released surveillance video footage of a suspect involved in a pharmacy robbery Friday.

Thunder Bay Police Service officials say the woman entered the Advantage Pharmacy on Barton Street just after 1 p.m. on Aug. 1.

The suspect handed a note to the pharmacy assistant demanding medications and threatened that she had a gun in her purse.

The suspect left the business with some narcotics.

No one was injured as a result of the incident.

Police are now looking for a 50-year-old Caucasian woman who stands about five-feet-five-inches tall. The suspect has a thin build and light brown hair.

She wore a beige sunhat, sun glasses, a yellow shirt and gray pants at the time of the robbery.

She also had large bandages on her face at the time of the incident.
