There are only minor injuries to report after a pick-up truck ran into the McIntyre-Neebing floodway Monday night.
The incident took place around 1 p.m. just off Carrick Street.
When officers with the Thunder Bay Police Service arrived, they found a partially submerged half-ton in the river.
One occupant was found on the riverbank.
He was sent to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre where he was treated and released.
A second intoxicated man was taken into custody at the scene.
The investigation continues.
