Plane crash kills two people near Domain Lake.

KENORA, Ont. -- Two people are dead following a Wednesday morning plane crash near Domain Lake.

According to the Transportation Safety Board, the piper aircraft crashed Wednesday morning around 10:50 a.m, which resulted in the death of both people on board.

The pilot of the Piper aircraft was a 44-year-old man from Red Lake and his passenger was a 51-year-old woman, also from Red Lake.

The plane came down near Domain Lake, which is located about 135 kilometres north of Kenora.

The TSB says it may not make it to the site Thursday due to its remoteness.
