Fishing line strung across a Boulevard Lake path could have injured someone seriously, say Thunder Bay Police (Leith Dunick, tbnewswatch.com)

A 22-year-old man was arrested early Monday in conjunction with a disturbing incident at Boulevard Lake.

Thunder Bay police say the suspect was identified and spoken to after someone ran fishing line at neck height across bike and walking paths in the heavily used park.

Police say the suspect, who was not identified, was remorseful and that he only intended to play a prank, not hurt someone seriously.
The man has been charged with mischief and released, pending a future court date.
