Police arrest ATM theft suspects

THUNDER BAY -- Two men have been charged for alleged involvement in the theft of an ATM in August.

Thunder Bay police on Thursday said they had arrested the two Thunder Bay suspects, who were identified during an investigation that began after an automatic teller machine was reported stolen in the 400 block of Northern Avenue on Aug. 25.

A 55-year-old man has been charged with a break and enter offence, as well as motor vehicle theft.

A 31-year-old man has been charged with theft over $5,000.

Both of the accused have been remanded into custody as they await future court dates.
