THUNDER BAY – City police made an arrest in the Little Mermaid break and enter incident.
On Wednesday, officers observed one of the suspects in the south core around 9:30 p.m.
Officers approached the male on the corner of May and George streets and placed him under arrest.
Francis Valle, 27, was charged with two counts of break and enter, possession of stolen property over $5,000 and possession of stolen property under $5,000.
Valle appeared in court Thursday morning and was remanded to the District Jail.
Police are still looking to locate the young person who was identified as the second suspect in this incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
