Police arrest suspect in Mac's robbery

THUNDER BAY - City police have arrested a man in connection with a convenience store robbery. Thunder Bay Police Service officers were called to the Mac's Store on Red River Road at 10:23 p.m. on August 3, 2016 regarding a robbery.

THUNDER BAY - City police have arrested a man in connection with a convenience store robbery.

Thunder Bay Police Service officers were called to the Mac's Store on Red River Road at 10:23 p.m. on August 3, 2016 regarding a robbery.

Officers arrived and arrested a 28-year-old man who had attempted to commit a robbery.

The male had threatened the store employee with needles. No one was injured. The accused was taken into custody by police in the store without incident. He was also in possession of a stolen car.

Justin Mark Legallais, 28, was charged with robbery and possession of stolen property over $5,000.

He has been remanded into custody for a future court date.
