Police ask public to avoid section of Mary Street

Police have not said what the nature of their ongoing investigation might be.

THUNDER BAY -- City police are asking the public to avoid the area of Mary Street West while they conduct an investigation.

In a release issued on Friday night, police said they are concentrating their efforts between Euclid and Broadmore avenues.

Police have not said what they are investigating.

About half a dozen police vehicles, marked and unmarked, and a command post unit are on scene.
