A prisoner who escaped OPP custody in Fort Frances and eluded police for a week has been captured.
Last night, police apprehended Matthew Bradley Meyers without incident. The 25-year old was located near Clearwater Lake, north of Emo.
Police had been looking for Meyers since April 29 when he fled the Fort Frances OPP Detachment.
He's now facing charges of possession of stolen property, breach of probation, assault, uttering threats and escaping lawful custody.
