Police charge break and enter suspect

FORT FRANCES, Ont. -- A Fort Frances resident faces break and enter charges following an incident Saturday afternoon.

According to a release, Ontario Provincial Police responded to a report of a break and enter on Saturday around 2 p.m. at a business on Scott Street in Fort Frances.

Officers with the assistance of Northwest Region Emergency Response Team and a canine officer conducted an investigation and the suspect was identified.

As a result of the investigation, A 32-year-old from Fort Frances has been charged with one count of break and enter and one count of theft.

The accused will appear in Fort Frances Provincial Court on June 8 at 9:30 a.m. to answer to the charges.
