A large amount of stolen property has been recovered by Marathon OPP following a traffic stop Thursday.
Officers pulled over a vehicle on Highway 17 just east of Marathon that was found to have been stolen in Calgary.
A search of the car turned up a large number of stolen items, including laptops, watches, diamonds and other jewelry. The value of the stolen goods is estimated at about $50,000.
A 28-year-old Calgary man is facing several charges of possession of stolen property.
