Police have no leads in Sioux Lookout stabbing

Officials with the Sioux Lookout detachment of the OPP say the incident took place in the Northern Ontario community on the evening of Friday, Oct. 25.

Police say at about 8:30 p.m. officers attended the Sioux Lookout Meno-Ya-Win Health Centre in response to an aggressive patient who had suffered a stab wound. The patient had been dropped off at the hospital by an unknown person.

Officers have been unable to identify a suspect, nor do they know who transported the victim to the health centre.

Police are asking anyone with information about this incident to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or provide an anonymous tip to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
