Police ID plane crash victims

Police have named the four people killed in Tuesday’s plane crash near the North Spirit Lake, Ont. airport. Dead are 38-year-old Martha Campbell and 39-year-old Colette Eisinger of Winnipeg, 62-year-old Ben Van Hoek of Carmen, Man.

Police have named the four people killed in Tuesday’s plane crash near the North Spirit Lake, Ont. airport.

Dead are 38-year-old Martha Campbell and 39-year-old Colette Eisinger of Winnipeg, 62-year-old Ben Van Hoek of Carmen, Man. and Fariborz Abasabady, the pilot of the small plane.

Brian Shead, 36, was the lone survivor of the crash.

Members of the OPP North West Region and Nishnawbe-Aski Police Service (NAPS) will remain on the scene to assist the Transportation Safety Board with the investigation.
