THUNDER BAY - The body discovered near Pass Lake has been identified as a Thunder Bay man who has been missing since last September.
According to an Ontario Provincial Police media release, a post-mortem examination on the body took place on Mar. 28 at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre, which determined the identity as 33-year-old, Grant Tiboni.
OPP were alerted to a suspicious vehicle parked parked on a trail off Pass Lake Road. Officers discovered the vehicle was the 1997 silver four-door Acura RL belonging to Tiboni. A deceased male was discovered inside the vehicle.
Tiboni was first reported missing on Sept. 8, 2016, after he was last seen in the area of Silver Harbour Road.
Police say no foul play is suspected at this time.
