THUNDER BAY - Police are investigating a reported assault after a 16-year-old male was sent to hospital late last week.
According to a Thunder Bay Police media release, patrol officers received a report from a 16-year-old male that he was attacked by three individuals in a black SUV. The incident took place the evening of Saturday June, 3, 2017 between 9 and 10 p.m. in the area of Simpson Street and Pacific Avenue.
The male was taken to hospital and has since been released.
Police are reviewing video from the area and speaking with witnesses, but say there are inconsistencies because alcohol was a factor in the incident.
The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information or may have witnessed the incident are asked to contact Thunder Bay Police at 684-1200.
