Police investigate weekend robbery

Police are investigating a robbery at a Mac's Convenience Store Saturday night.

THUNDER BAY – City police are searching for a man who robbed a Mac’s Convenience Store Saturday night.

The suspect entered the Mac’s Convenience Store located on May Street with his face concealed. He used a knife to demand money and cigarettes from the employee.

The suspect fled the scene and was followed by a citizen to Northern Avenue where he got on a bike and rode away.

He is described as being six-foot-three with a heavy build. He was wearing a yellow jersey with the number 66 on the back, sunglasses and a black balaclava.
