Police are investigating a possible stabbing that officers responded to early Wednesday morning.
Thunder Bay Police Service officers attended an apartment building on West Frederica Street after shortly after midnight. Police found a woman who suffered from stab wounds inside the apartment building.
Police are releasing few details at this time, but say a 40-year-old woman is now in custody.
That woman will appear in court Wednesday to face a charge of assault with a weapon.
The victim was released from the hospital following treatment.
