Police investigating 30-minute knifepoint holdup

Police are looking for a man suspected of holding another man at knifepoint for nearly 30 minutes before robbing him. Officials with the Thunder Bay Police Service say the incident took place just before 10:30 p.m.
Police are looking for a man suspected of holding another man at knifepoint for nearly 30 minutes before robbing him.

Officials with the Thunder Bay Police Service say the incident took place just before 10:30 p.m. Wednesday near Norah and Cameron streets. A man reported being held at knifepoint for nearly half-an-hour before having his iPod and Blackberry phone taken from him.

Police say the victim was not injured as a result of the altercation.

Police say they are now looking for a Caucasian man, in his late 20s to early 30s, with a slim build and thin goatee. The suspect wore a black jacket at the time of the incident.
