THUNDER BAY - One man was sent to hospital following an incident on the city’s south side Friday afternoon and police are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
According to a Thunder Bay Police Service media release, paramedics responded to reports of a male in distress on the sidewalk at approximately 4 p.m. Friday afternoon on the corner of Victoria Avenue and North Street.
The man was transported to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre with what police described as serious injuries.
Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident that led to the man’s injuries to come forward.
