Police are investigating an armed robbery that happened early Sunday morning in the city’s south core.
Thunder Bay Police Service officers say a woman in her late teens robbed a Mac’s Convenience Store near Victoria Avenue around 3 a.m. Police didn’t say what the weapon was but added it wasn’t a firearm. The woman made off with an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes. No injuried were reported.
Police described the woman as Caucasian wearing a red hoody, jeans and a grey toque.
