Video: Police investigating convenience store robbery

City police are looking for a man involved in a southside convenience store robbery.

THUNDER BAY -- City police are searching for a man who robbed a southside convenience store Saturday night.

Thunder Bay Police Service officials say the robbery occurred on Alley’s Variety on Franklin Street South just after 10 p.m.

The suspect was last seen westbound on Walsh Street in a red or burgundy, four-door car driven by a woman.

Police are looking for a suspect they describe as a 20 to 30-year-old man, standing about five-foot-five-inches, weighing about 155 pounds.

He was wearing a black Michael Jordan cap, white-framed sunglasses and a maroon coloured t-shirt with the words “Union College.” He was also wearing blue jeans and light brown shoes.
