THUNDER BAY — Police are investigating a fatal collision between a commercial vehicle and a pedestrian on the city's south side.
Thunder Bay Police Service officers were called to the intersection of Waterloo and Ridgeway streets just after 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
The pedestrian died as a result of the collision.
In a Friday morning media release, police said the deceased is a 57-year-old, but did not disclose his identity.
The roadway was reopened late Thursday night.
