THUNDER BAY -- A cyclist sustained neck injuries Friday morning in an incident police officers are investigating as a possible hit and run.
Emergency responders were alerted to the incident at the corner of Water and John streets around 8:30 a.m.
The man was loaded into an ambulance on a spine board and taken to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre.
Thunder Bay Police Service officers on the scene said it's unclear at this time whether the vehicle's driver cut off the cyclist or whether the vehicle struck him.
The investigation is ongoing.
