Police investigating serious collision

Several streets in the city's south core are blocked off to facilitate the crash investigation.

THUNDER BAY -- City police cordoned off serveral blocks on the city's south side Saturday while investigating what appears to be a serious motor vehicle collision.

The collision occurred at Arthur Street and Syndicate Avenue, near the VIctoriaville parkade. 

Police blocked off Arthur Street at Archibald and Brodie streets and Donald Street at Archibald and Brodie streets on Saturday night as they investigated the incident.

Paramedics were also on scene at the early evening collision on Saturday night.
