Police investigating two sudden deaths in Cat Lake First Nation

Little revealed by police about circumstances surrounding the two deaths.

CAT LAKE FIRST NATION -- Police are investigating a pair of sudden deaths in the Northern Ontario community of Cat Lake First Nation. 

OPP, in a release issued on Thursday afternoon, revealed little about the deaths, and did not release any information about the deceased. The OPP is assisting the Nishnawbe-Aski Police Service. 

They did say a post-mortem examination will be held at a future date, yet to be determined, in Kenora. 

Police added there is no threat to public safety or concerns for public safety as a result of the investigation.
