Police charged the same Thunder Bay man with two driving offences within 15 minutes of each other.
The Thunder Bay Police Service RIDE program wrapped up Saturday morning. Police say they issued seven people with three-day suspension notices for having a blood alcohol level of more than .05 milligrams per 100 milligrams of blood. Police say officers pulled over a Thunder Bay man who decided to leave his car and walk to his home that was a few blocks away. About 15 minutes later, police say they stopped the same man after they found him driving his wife in a second car.
Police charged him for driving under suspension and both family vehicles were impounded.
Police will be continuing the RIDE program throughout the holiday season.
