Police looking for break-and-enter suspect

City police need the public’s help to locate the suspect of a recent break and enter. Officials with the Thunder Bay Police Service say a man broke into the Thunder Pet store off Red River Road just before midnight Wednesday.

Officials with the Thunder Bay Police Service say a man broke into the Thunder Pet store off Red River Road just before midnight Wednesday.

The man entered the building after smashing through the glass door.

The suspect went to the cash register and then immediately left the scene.

The suspect is said to be about five-feet-eight-inches tall with a thin build. He wore jeans, white running shoes and a hoodie at the time of the incident.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact city police at 684-1200 or contact Crime Stoppers at 623-TIPS.

Police are also investigating eight other similar commercial break and enters in the past 48 hours. It is not known if these incidents are connected.
