Police looking for missing 24-year-old woman

THUNDER BAY -- Police are asking for public assistance to help find a 24-year-old woman travelling to Alberta who was last heard from by her family while she was in Thunder Bay.

Stacey Whitestone, who police said was travelling towards Edmonton by bus from Southern Ontario, last spoke with her father on April 19 or 20, Thunder Bay Police said in a Friday media release.

She was reported missing to Thunder Bay police on Thursday.

She is described as an Indigenous woman with shoulder-length black hair and a tattoo on the right side of her neck. She is four-foot-nine with a medium build.

Police are asking her to contact them or her family. Anyone who has seen her in the past month or has information on her whereabouts is asked to contact police.
