Police looking for suspect after Mac's robbery

Police are asking for the public’s assistance after a Mac’s Convenience Store was robbed last week.

THUNDER BAY -- The city’s police are asking for the public’s assistance after a Mac’s Convenience Store was robbed last week.

A man entered the Mac’s on Cumberland just before 6 a.m. on Thursday. He poured himself a coffee and brought it to the counter where he requested two packages of cigarettes.

The suspect threw the coffee at the employee, grabbed the cigarettes and ran out of the store.

The man is described as a Aboriginal, who is 5-foot-10 with a thin build. He was wearing a dark jacket, a tan colored toque and white Adidas shoes.
