Police looking for truck involved in hit and run

City police are investigating a hit and run that took place on the corner of Windemere and Van Norman Streets Monday afternoon. Officials with the Thunder Bay Police Service say the incident took place at about 4 p.m.

City police are investigating a hit and run that took place on the corner of Windemere and Van Norman Streets Monday afternoon.

Officials with the Thunder Bay Police Service say the incident took place at about 4 p.m. when a Dodge pickup truck ran through a stop sign and struck a Chevrolet Cavalier in the intersection.

The driver of the truck fled the scene after the crash.

No injuries were reported as a result of the collision .

The truck involved in the crash is described as a grey Dodge Ram 1500 extended cab, short box with black and chrome rims. The truck also features an aftermarket exhaust, slight lift of about two-to-three inches and no capper.

The truck likely has substantial front-end damage.
