THUNDER BAY -- The Thunder Bay Police Service is looking for witnesses to the fatal auto/pedestrian collision that occurred early Saturday morning.
A police media release reads the traffic unit is "making good progress" but officers are looking to connect with two witnesses in a red Fort pickup truck who contacted 9-1-1 immediately following the collision.
The hit-and-run collision that occurred at about 1:35 a.m. Saturday killed a 20-year-old male pedestrian.
Police stopped a vehicle in the Memorial Avenue, Harbour Expressway area a short time later and a man was taken into custody and charged.
