Police looking to identify Circle K robbery suspect

THUNDER BAY -- Police are searching for a robber who held up a south-side convenience store on Wednesday night.

According to a Thursday news release, the robber entered the Circle K store on Waterloo Street South and approached the clerk, threatening him to hand over undisclosed store merchandise. Police said the robber left the store with some merchandise and fled behind a Walsh Street home.

Police described the suspect as a Caucasian male in his 30s, standing about six-feet tall with a medium build. He was wearing a navy blue sweatshirt with black cuffs, black pants and dark shoes. The suspect used a black ski mask and dark sunglasses to conceal his identity.

Anyone with information that could help identify the suspect is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
