Police looking to identify vehicle theft suspect (2 photos)

Police are looking to identify another suspect involved in a fraud and stolen property investigation.
THUNDER BAY -- City police are asking for public assistance in identifying a suspect in a fraud and stolen property investigation.

Thunder Bay Police Service officials say a resident reported that a 2005 white Subaru Outback XT had been stolen from a driveway in the 300 block of Marks Street North on Sept. 14 between 1 a.m. and 8 a.m.

The victim also reported a purse was left inside the vehicle and that transactions had been recorded on her debit card.

Police released images on Oct. 15 and requested the public’s assistance in identifying a man connected to this investigation.

As a result of the ongoing investigation, police are now releasing new images from video surveillance showing a second potential suspect.
