Police looks for suspects in North side assault

Thunder Bay Police are looking for three suspects following an assault on the city's North side. Police say a 42-year-old man was allegedly beaten behind the Mac's Mart at the corner of Red River Road and Junot Avenue at about 9:30 p.

Thunder Bay Police are looking for three suspects following an assault on the city's North side.

Police say a 42-year-old man was allegedly beaten behind the Mac's Mart at the corner of Red River Road and Junot Avenue at about 9:30 p.m Monday evening. He was taken to hospital with numerous injuries. Police say the victim appears to have been targeted and robbery was not a motive.

The first suspect is described as a Native Canadian male wirh a large muscular build, long hair in a ponytail and a teardrop tattoo under one of his eyes. The second suspect is described as a tall skinny male with acne and pock marks on his face. He was last seen wearing a grey and black hoodie. No description was available for the third suspect.
