Officers with the combined forces crime unit – which is made up of OPP, Thunder Bay Police Service, RCMP and Nishnawbe-Aski Police Service resources – seized about 20 pounds of marijuana, growing equipment and dozens of marijuana plants from an Onion Lake Road cabin.

Police say the estimated street value of the narcotics seized is about $200,000.

A 46-year-old man from Gorham Township now faces charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking, and production of a controlled substance.
