Police make Windsor Street drug bust

Police made a drug bust in the city Wednesday morning. The Thunder Bay Police Services’ Drug Enforcement unit searched a home in the 200 block of Windsor Street around 11 a.m.

The Thunder Bay Police Services’ Drug Enforcement unit searched a home in the 200 block of Windsor Street around 11 a.m. and uncovered what police are now calling a significant quantity of drugs and money.

Police say officers discovered $62,000 in cash, and drugs like Oxycodone, cocaine, marijuana and diazepam, with a combined street value estimated at $31,000.

A 24 -year old woman and a 30-year old man now face a number of charges and will appear in court in August.
