Police arrested a suspect following a weekend assault and robbery on Walsh Street.
Thunder Bay Police Service officers say they arrested and charged an 18-year-old man from Thunder Bay on Sunday just before 5:30 p.m. The arrest follows an incident reported one day earlier where an elderly woman was assaulted and robbed of her purse.
The robbery took place around the 2100 block of Walsh Street.
The 18-year-old suspect is expected to make a court appearance by video on Monday.
Police say officers continue to look for a second male suspect.
