THUNDER BAY — A member of the Thunder Bay Police Service has been charged under the Highway Traffic Act after a collision last month at Walsh and Edward streets.
The July 31 incident resulted in a police SUV flipping onto its side after it collided with a passenger vehicle.
Police issued a news release at the time, which stated there were only minor injuries, however both vehicles sustained heavy damage.
A spokesperson confirmed Wednesday that an officer has been charged for failing to stop for a red light.
