Police officer to be awarded for community involvement

A member of the Thunder Bay Police Service is being recognized for his many community contributions. Const. Jim Wright will receive an appreciation award from the Westfort Kiwanis Club on Monday.

A member of the Thunder Bay Police Service is being recognized for his many community contributions.

Const. Jim Wright will receive an appreciation award from the Westfort Kiwanis Club on Monday.

Wright, who is a member of the Emergency Task Unit, is being awarded for his volunteer work with the Police Youth Corp, the Canadian Cancer Society, the Arthritis Society and as a youth soccer coach.
