THUNDER BAY - A suspect who allegedly stole a bottle of cologne from a drug store during the holiday season and shoved past three people while fleeing is being sought by police.

The suspect, described as being a white man in his 20s and wearing a toque and plaid button up shirt at the time of the incident, allegedly approached a female employee at the Shopper's Drug Mart on East Arthur Street on Dec. 21 and asked to smell cologne, the Thunder Bay Police Service announced in a Friday media release.

Police said when a bottle was produced the man was said to have grabbed it and started to run out of the store, knocking two people over on his way out. The employee tried to get in his way to the main entrance but was grabbed and shoved by the fleeing suspect. The employee was not injured.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
